EC/UN Partnership: Call for Action

In a series of publications to be launched and distributed during the Accra High Level Forum, the EC/UN Partners call upon development partners to invest in practical actions for promoting gender equality, including support to gender equality advocates' participation in policy dialogue on national development planning and aid delivery; capacity building of government institutions on gender-responsive programming and budgeting; the use of gender-sensitive development indicators to monitor results of development assistance; the collection and use of data disaggregated by sex, age and urban/rural location; and the establishment of accountability mechanisms to monitor and track investments and results on gender equality.

The GenderMatters Alert updates our audience of the most recent developments on gender equality and aid effectiveness, and shares information on events, training opportunities, new publications and other relevant resources.

The GenderMatters Newsletter is issued annually and collects the key achievements of the EC/UN Partnership in ist 12 countries, and presents the main actors and beneficiaries of the regional and global activities.
