The EC/UN Partnership has been conducting studies on Aid Effectiveness and Implementation of Security Council Resolutions 1325 and 1820. Preliminary findings on Nepal and the Democratic Republic of Congo will be presented during two CSW Side Events.

Letty Chiwara, Programme Manager will share initial findings from the DRC study in a UNIFEM organized event on “Gender Equality in Economic Crisis and Recovery: Getting the Macroeconomic Policies Right”, which will take place on 4 March.

In addition, the researcher from Nepal, Ms Bandana Rana will be part of a UNDP and UNIFEM organized Interactive Panel on “The Price of Peace: Financing Gender Equality in Post Conflict Recovery and Reconstruction” which will take place on 3 March.
